Buckingham Palace is held in trust by The Crown Estate, for future generations. It is currently undergoing a 10-year refit. It is the biggest refurbishment undertaken on the property since World War Two. Items being renewed include the Palace’s 33-year old boilers, 100 miles of electrical cable – some of it over 60 years old and 20 miles of lead and cast iron pipework, plus other rainwater goods.
Delcote HPG from Delvemade was recently specified and applied to gutters around the carriage washroom roof, at the Royal Mews, Buckingham Palace. Used in conjunction with Seamsil 300 (defective joints) the coating system provides a seamless solution to long-term weatherproofing of gutter surfaces.
