Itac was chosen to present not one but two talks at this year’s FEICA conference, which was held last month, in Izmir, Turkey.
Paul Armitt gave his audience an insight into the reasons for Itac’s rapid growth in recent years. In a change to FEICA’s often more technical and corporate presentations, he took a light-hearted approach to explain Itac’s heritage as a pioneer of adhesives and coatings. He also demonstrated how forward planning and investment in people and equipment are imperatives for smaller businesses, if they are to match Itac and achieve sustained success.
Cees Pille, Sector Head Adhesives & Sealants’ of VLK, the Dutch Association of Adhesives & Sealants – said ‘Paul Armitt spoke passionately about what its is like to be a SME. He presented the story of his company Itac and how a small business became strong.’
In a separate session at the conference, Itac’s David Proctor gave an informative presentation relating why we consider ISO 14001 to be so important. He explained the benefits of our decision to implement the leading environmental management system through BASA.
Both presentations were well attended by delegates from across the world, representing various sectors of the industry.
